Article's English abstract:

In this research, zinc oxide ZnO nanoparticles as a catalyst, to remove pigment Methyl orange in the presence of ultra violet light, was synthesized. Zno nanoparticles was synthesized by sol-gel method without stabilizer ingredient and coating in Low temperature and its photocatalytic properties was compared with bulk particles. Particles morphology was characterized by X-Ray diffraction XRD and Transmission electron microscopy TEM. Particles structure was observed polyhedral and hexagonal type and crystal size of samples and grains size was obtained 12 nm and 20 nm by X-ray patern Scherrer equation and by TEM picture, respectively. Methyl orange removal was obtained with primary concentration of 20 mg/L at the time of 180 minutes ultraviolet radiation. The results showed synthesized nanoparticles have a high photocatalytic activity in compared with bulk particles.
